Serving Those Around Us
Brydges Centre strives to be a beacon of hope in serving the community around us. Therefore, we work intentionally to stay close to the needs of families and children near us. We are committed to continually engaging with and building the community. Through a variety of projects, we foster connection, education, and health.
Sports & Activities
We actively engage in sports activities targeting the schools and children’s homes around us. By organizing tournaments and friendly matches, we foster a spirit of unity and healthy competition.
These activities provide a platform for children to interact, build social skills, and stay physically active. In addition, they strengthen the bonds between Brydges Centre and our neighbors.
Community Library
We are upgrading our community library so it can serve the large population of children and youth from the Isinya and Kisaju area.
The Brydges School Library serves as a vital community information centre. It provides access to books, educational resources, and a quiet space for study. Furthermore, we believe that access to information is key to empowering the next generation.
Care Leaver Re-integration
Our support extends beyond childhood. In fact, we walk with our own care leavers through the process of community re-integration so that they can stand on their own after completing Colleges or Universities.
Independence & Dignity
We ensure our young adults gain the life skills, mentorship, and professional guidance they need to navigate the world independently. As a result, they become confident, contributing members of society.
