Nurturing Potential

Talent & Mentorship

Helping young minds discover their hidden gifts, skills, and the spark to shine.

Our Philosophy

More Than Just Occupying Minds

We design our after-school programs not just to keep young minds occupied after school, but also to help us discover a child’s hidden gifts, skills, and potentials for nurturing. In addition, we believe every child possesses a unique ability waiting to be uncovered.

"Over time, children re-discover themselves and the spark to shine rekindles in them. As a result, we have witnessed how it helps the self-esteem of a child when a talent comes alive and we discover it in them."

Success Stories

Unleashing Creativity & Skill

For example, some of the areas where we have been successful in creating vibrant communities.

Choir & Band

Through this program, the creation of the Brydges Centre School Choir and Band allows students to express themselves musically, learn instruments, and understand the value of harmony.

Acting & Drama

Our Acting and Drama Club provides a platform for storytelling. In turn, it builds confidence, empathy, and public speaking skills through performance.

Football Clubs

We have established active children’s football clubs. In this way, we teach discipline, physical health, and the importance of teamwork.

Coming Soon

Music School

In the near future, we look forward to introducing the Brydges Centre Music School, which shall cater for the broader community children and youth, expanding our impact.

Holistic Growth

Peer Mentorship Program

To support this growth, we have created a dedicated pool of peer mentors from local churches, universities, and colleges. These partners help us in the holistic growth and development of our children and youth, providing guidance that goes beyond academics.

The Critical Role of Care Leavers

In particular, Brydges Centre Care Leavers play a critical role in this program. Because of their filial relation with the children at the centre, they relate to and understand them better than anyone else, serving as powerful living examples of what is possible.
